Tom Van Scoyoc
Tom Van Scoyoc is a New York based Director and Writer. From a young age Tom pursued his obsessions with light, optical illusions, a passion for learning, and a desire to find collective experience; all eventually leading him to become a filmmaker with a distinct and informed directing style. He studied at the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory where he graduated with a BFA in 2016. His work spans a range of genres, primarily in narrative cinema, art film, commercial, and music video. He has screened films at festivals and venues around the world, including Cannes, BFI, HIFF, and more.
